Position Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the "engine" of our sales process—identifying new opportunities, engaging with key decision-makers in the construction industry, and driving revenue. You will work closely with our Sales Strategist and Coordinators to turn leads into long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate is a hunter who is comfortable with high-volume outreach and possesses the persistence to navigate complex B2B sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively identify and engage potential clients (architects, developers, contractors) through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn networking.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to qualified opportunity, ensuring the CRM is updated with high accuracy.
- Discovery & Qualification: Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points regarding permitting and regulatory delays.
- Deal Execution: Present our service value propositions and assist in the preparation of proposals and surety bond applications.
- Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly targets for outreach volume, meeting sets, and closed-won contracts.
- Collaboration: Work alongside Sales Coordinators to ensure a seamless handoff from signed contract to project kickoff.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on regional construction trends and municipal regulatory changes to better advise prospects.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or business development.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in construction, real estate, or professional services is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone or video.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and project management software.
- Mindset: A "hunter" mentality with a strong resilience to rejection and a focus on hitting daily activity metrics.
