What will you work on?:
- Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Golang (Go).
- Develop, test, and optimize RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend interfaces and third-party services.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems and databases.
- Deploy, manage, and scale backend applications using Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform.
- Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver features aligned with business objectives and user requirements.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance using monitoring tools such as Datadog, focusing on metrics such as response times, resource utilization, error rates, and system health to proactively address potential issues.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Backend: Go (with a legacy system using Haskell), PostgreSQL.

About you:
You are an experienced backend engineer specializing in Go, passionate about building efficient, reliable, and scalable backend services. You have a strong understanding of backend architecture, best practices, and how the Internet and the Web work.
You have extensive hands-on experience in Go, designing RESTful APIs, and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL. You understand the principles of distributed systems, microservices, and containerization, and have hands-on experience deploying and managing applications using Kubernetes on platforms like Google Cloud Platform.
You are familiar with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog and are committed to maintaining code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews. You have a solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub workflows.
Your technical excellence is complemented by strong communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects such as integrating new analytics features or enhancing system scalability and performance.
