We are recruiting a Loan Processor for an Australian mortgage broking business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and confident managing loan applications from submission through to approval/settlement support.
You will support the broker/s and wider team with loan packaging, document checks, lender follow-up, and keeping files moving accurately and on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Review loan application documents for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and organise client files prior to submission
- Follow up clients/brokers for outstanding documents and information
- Complete data entry and maintain CRM / loan processing systems
- Check supporting documents against lender requirements and policy
- Assist with servicing calculators, application packaging, and submission prep
- Liaise with lenders, BDMs, solicitors, valuers, and other parties as required
- Track application progress and update notes, statuses, and stakeholders
- Assist with post-approval / settlement coordination tasks
- Help ensure files are compliant, complete, and audit-ready
About you
- Experience in loan processing / credit support / mortgage administration (AU mortgage experience highly regarded)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot missing or inconsistent information
- Organised and able to manage multiple files at different stages
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with deadlines and following structured processes
- Proactive attitude - you don’t wait to be chased to follow things up
- Confident using CRMs, lender portals, and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
- Experience with Australian mortgage broking systems (highly regarded but not essential depending on experience)
Nice to have (not essential)
- Experience supporting Australian mortgage brokers
- Knowledge of lender policy / loan submission requirements
- Exposure to ApplyOnline, Mercury, AOL, Salestrekker, MyCRM, or similar platforms
- Understanding of compliance documentation and file notes
