Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering , or related field. ISTQB Foundation preferred. 3–5 years of hands-on testing experience. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes. Prior experience executing end-to-end test cycles in enterprise systems. Exposure to automation is an advantage. Expertise in functional, integration, and regression testing Basic API testing experience Proficiency in test management tools (ALM, JIRA, QC) Test data creation & environment validation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage individual workloads independently Good communication and stakeholder coordination Location : BGC, Taguig City Work Set-Up : 100% Onsite, Shifting Schedule (9AM-12MN PHT) Engagement : Project-Based
The Opportunity.
The Mid-Level Test Engineer is responsible for executing complex test cases, validating system behaviors, managing defects, and ensuring detailed coverage across functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. This role requires deeper technical understanding and autonomy in handling assigned modules.
The Role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Execute test scenarios across functional, regression, integration, E2E, and API testing.
- Prepare test data, validate test environments, and ensure readiness for execution cycles.
- Analyze defects, perform retesting, and support RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
- Support UAT cycles, including extended test windows and real-time defect triaging.
- Document execution results and contribute to test summary reports.
- Identify gaps in test scripts and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to resolve defects efficiently.
