Job Summary :
The Wound Care QA Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and auditing wound care documentation for US home health patients. This role ensures compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and agency standards. The specialist will work onsite in our Parañaques office and collaborate closely with US-based clients and internal BPO teams to improve patient outcomes and documentation quality.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct chart audits of patient wound care documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with US home health regulations (Medicare / Medicaid, CMS).
- Review wound assessments, care plans, and follow-ups to ensure adherence to evidence-based wound care practices.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or errors and provide feedback and recommendations to clinicians and staff.
- Track wound care outcomes and trends to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with US-based clinical teams, case managers, and internal BPO staff to optimize patient care.
- Ensure documentation and QA processes comply with regulatory standards and reimbursement requirements.
- Generate reports for management highlighting key findings, areas for improvement, and compliance metrics.
Qualifications :
Registered Nurse (RN) with wound care experience in home health or hospital settings.Wound care certification (WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) is preferred.Knowledge of US home health documentation, regulations, and standards.Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and QA tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to work onsite in Parañaque, collaborating with both local and US teams.Skills & Competencies :
