About the Role
We're looking for a versatile AI Automation & Integration Specialist to join our AI, Technology and Automation team. This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for implementing commercial AI solutions and building seamless integrations across business systems. You'll leverage platforms like Go High Level and Google Suite as well as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI services to solve real business problems, while creating automated workflows that connect our entire tech ecosystem.
As one of our first technical hires, you'll have significant ownership and influence over our automation strategy, AI implementation, and integration architecture. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a problem-solving environment, loves connecting systems and processes, and wants to see their work make an immediate impact on business efficiency.
What You'll Do
AI Implementation & Automation (60%)
Design and implement AI-powered solutions and custom GPTs using platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to solve business challenges
Build intelligent workflows that leverage AI APIs for content generation, analysis, customer service, and decision support
Create and optimize AI-driven automation sequences for marketing, sales, and operations in our CRM (Go High Level)
Research and evaluate new AI tools and platforms for potential business applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities where commercial AI can drive value
Platform Integration & Workflow Automation (30%)
Design and build seamless integrations between business platforms using Zapier, n8n, Make, and custom webhooks
Create sophisticated automation workflows that connect CRM (GoHighLevel), marketing tools, communication platforms, and business apps
Develop and maintain GoHighLevel (GHL) automations, funnels, and workflow sequences
Build custom API integrations when pre-built connectors aren't sufficient
Optimize data flow between systems to ensure accuracy and real-time synchronization
Troubleshoot and maintain existing integrations and automation workflows
Strategy & Collaboration (10%)
Work closely with the Head of Technology and development team to align automation initiatives
Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in clear, accessible language
Document workflows and integrations thoroughly to build organizational knowledge
Train team members on automation tools and best practices as the company grows
Stay current with AI and automation trends and share insights with the team
What Success Looks Like
In 30 Days :
Understand our business model, current tech stack, and automation opportunities
Complete onboarding and familiarize yourself with our existing systems
Audit current workflows and identify integration gaps and inefficiencies
Build your first AI-powered automation or platform integration
In 90 Days :
Deploy multiple working AI solutions that solve real business problems
Establish core integrations between major business platforms
Create standardized automation workflows for key business processes
Become proficient with our GoHighLevel setup and optimization
In 6 Months :
Own the end-to-end automation strategy from planning to implementation
Demonstrate measurable business impact through AI implementations and integrations
Establish best practices for automation management and platform optimization
Contribute to strategic planning for technology and automation initiatives
In 1 Year :
Be recognized as the AI and automation subject matter expert in the company
Have implemented a comprehensive automation ecosystem delivering significant value
Build and mentor additional team members as we scale
Shape the long-term AI and automation strategy
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
3-7+ years of hands-on experience with business automation, AI implementation, or systems integration
Proven track record of building and deploying automation solutions in business environments
Experience working in fast-paced, agile environments
Technical Skills
Experience with automation platforms : Zapier, n8n, Make (formerly Integromat)
Hands-on experience implementing commercial AI solutions (ChatGPT API, Claude API, Google AI, etc.)
Proficiency with GoHighLevel automation, workflows, and funnel optimization (or strong ability to learn quickly)
API integration expertise - REST APIs, webhooks, and custom integration development
Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages for custom solutions
Understanding of business systems : CRM, email marketing, e-commerce, project management tools
Experience with no-code / low-code platforms and workflow builders
Knowledge of data transformation and mapping between different platforms

Experience with GoHighLevel advanced features : custom fields, advanced triggers, API usage
Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI optimization techniques
Experience with e-commerce integrations : Shopify, WooCommerce, payment processors
Familiarity with database management and SQL for complex data operations
Background in business process optimization and workflow design
Experience with customer journey mapping and marketing automation
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and secure integration practices
Experience building chatbots and conversational AI solutions
