🌟 We're Hiring : Calculation App Support Specialist (Level 3 ITIL) 🌟
We are seeking a technical and analytical professional to join our team as a Calculation App Support Specialist . This role provides Level 3 support for our Calculation Systems software , ensuring system stability, optimizing performance, and supporting global users. You’ll work closely with international IT teams to implement solutions, drive improvements, and support deployment projects worldwide.
🔍 Roles & Responsibilities
Technical & Functional Support (Level 3 ITIL)
Provide client assistance and technical support for Calculation Systems applications .
Analyze issues and define effective solutions to resolve user problems and enhance system efficiency.
Apply ITIL processes within the Essilor IT Department to manage and document support activities.
Continuously improve performance, reliability, and availability of calculation solutions.
Implementation & Deployment
Perform pre-production setup , integration , and Non-Regression Testing (NRT) before go-live.
Support clients during system upgrades or new software implementations .
Deploy new customer environments and deliver global calculation system support .
Conduct user training sessions for new services or system enhancements, particularly in Asia .
Develop automation tools or scripts to streamline daily operations and improve efficiency.
Projects
Participate in Digital Services projects to support the development of new tools and functionalities.
Evaluate system specifications to optimize maintenance processes.
Collaborate closely with Digital Services teams in France , India , and the Philippines for development and support coordination.
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering , Information Systems , Computer Science , or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IS support , system maintenance , or business / system analysis .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business needs.
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
Willingness to join on-call support rotations when required.
Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of independent learning .
Strong interpersonal and intercultural collaboration skills with a customer-first mindset .
💻 Technical Skills
Intermediate proficiency in :
IIS , XML , MS SQL Database
Amazon Web Services (AWS) – advantageous
Strong overall technical acumen and ability to use specialized tools effectively.
Networking knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with web and client / server architectures .
Experience with T-SQL stored procedures , queries , and AWS console .
Infrastructure Environment :
Windows Server 2008 and later (virtual machines)
SQL Server 2014+ , including DBMS , SSIS , and SSAS
MSMQ , IIS 6 , FTP , lab machine connections
Amazon Cloud (AWS) environment
