Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Maintain and update employee and payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with HR on employee contracts, benefits, and statutory contributions.
- Compute and process payroll, including proper deductions for taxes, government contributions, and
benefits.
Handle employee loans, advances, deductions, and ensure proper remittance and reconciliationFacilitate timely employee payments via bank file uploads or transfers.Ensure adherence to statutory legal requirements and stay updated on new legislation, advisingmanagement on necessary actions.
Update and process remittances for government-mandated contributions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Prepare payroll reports, earnings statements, and related documentation for management review.Develop and enhance systems for payroll transactions, such as salaries, benefits, deductions, garnishments,and third-party payments.
Draft and update payroll policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and compliancestandards.
Input and manage payroll data using accounting and administrative software tools.Prepare for the annualization process, which involves calculating the annual earnings and deductions foreach employee to ensure accurate year-end reports.
Requirements
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Strong knowledge of labor laws and government regulations related to payroll and employee benefits (e.g.,SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
Proficiency in payroll systems and accounting software. Experience with Odoo and Google Workspace is aplus.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in Gsuite.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in handling payroll and compliance issues.Integrity in handling confidential and sensitive financial and employee informationFamiliarity with online payment processing tools and bank reconciliation processes.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in afast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Requirements
