The Procurement Manager (IT Category) will oversee the full strategic procurement cycle for IT hardware, IT software, and IT services. This role ensures supply stability, competitive costing, and full compliance across all technology-related sourcing activities.
The position is part of a centralized procurement structure supporting various business units, both store operations and corporate groups. The role ensures that all technology supply needsfrom equipment to software and service providersare met on time, within budget, and aligned with operational requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. IT Strategic Sourcing & Supply Continuity
- Lead sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, and services.
- Analyze market trends and supply risks (e.g., global hardware shortages, security risks).
- Ensure availability of technology assets and forecast future requirements.
- Support annual planning for software renewals and technology investments.
2. Supplier & Partner Management
Handle full supplier lifecycle : accreditation, onboarding, evaluation, and renewals.Manage multiple vendors including hardware distributors, software licensors, cloud platforms, cybersecurity providers, and outsourced IT service partners.Ensure vendors comply with agreed SLAs, policies, and security standards.Conduct regular performance reviews and capability assessments.3. Cost & Contract Management
Perform cost benchmarking and analyze licensing structures.Negotiate hardware pricing, service agreements, and software subscription models.Drive cost improvement initiatives based on market standard pricing.Challenge cost proposals and ensure commercial competitiveness.4. Internal Customer & Stakeholder Support
Coordinate closely with Digital Tech and Business Tech teams on specifications and requirements.Handle requests for additional units, upgrades, or service expansions.Support Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.Address complex purchase requests and recommend sourcing options.Propose process enhancements to improve procurement efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, or related field.At least 5 years of end-to-end strategic procurement experience .Strong background in IT hardware, software, or service procurement is preferred.With experience in :Software licensing and renewalsVendor and SLA managementCybersecurity and IT service providersMulti-vendor contractingSkilled in negotiation, supplier management, cost analysis, and contract review.Procurement certifications (CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
