This is a remote position.

Schedule :

  • 20 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 8 am to 3pm Sydney

Job Description :

We’re seeking a detail-orie nted Finance and Operations Assistant  to jo in our dynamic manufacturing team and play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy while supporting operational efficiency. This position offers unique exposure to both traditional bookkeeping practices and specialized manufacturing data systems, providing diverse experience that will enhance your professional skill set. You’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing processes that will scale with our rapid business growth, working closely with leadership to establish systems that drive success. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys learning new systems, and wants to contribute meaningfully to a growing Australian business.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform comprehensive bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations and financial statement processing
  • Execute precise data entry for financial records and business transactions
  • Manage specialized manufacturing data entry into industry-specific software systems
  • Process and organize critical financial documentation with meticulous attention to detail
  • Collaborate in developing comprehensive training guides and operational processes
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple integrated software platforms
  • Support the implementation of new financial systems and procedures
  • Requirements :

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks (Priority given to Australian experience)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all data entry tasks
  • Solid understanding of fundamental bookkeeping principles and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup
  • Excellent communication skills and proactive work approach

    Requirements
