Role :
The Finance & Operations Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of finance operations, compliance, and reporting across multiple businesses, as well as providing general administrative and HR support. This is a standalone role, requiring someone comfortable doing all tasks directly — from bookkeeping and reconciliations to preparing financial reports and handling employment contracts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform data entry and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
- Deliver formal monthly reporting packs with commentary and insights.
- Maintain accuracy and ensure timely reporting.
2. Strategic Finance (Desirable, not essential)
Develop and track financial forecasts and budgets.Exposure to SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, churn) preferred but not required.Capital raising support may be outsourced; willingness to learn is sufficient.3. Compliance & Coordination
Oversee Australian compliance matters : BAS, payroll, superannuation, and ASIC lodgements.Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure compliance.Ensure accurate record-keeping and statutory filings.4. Personal & Investment Support
Assist the CEO with administration of personal property, superannuation, and investment opportunities.General support in reviewing contracts and coordinating with advisors as needed.5. HR & Operations Support
Draft, issue, and manage employment contracts using templates.Build and edit job descriptions.Manage payroll and HR records.Prepare tenders, proposals, and customer quotes.Coordinate correspondence and manage advisor relationships.Requirements
Qualifications and Skills :
Mid-tier finance / accounting background with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and reporting.Must be able to work on a 3 Days Hybrid Setup here in our office (Location is in Quezon Avenue Corner Scout Reyes Diliman QC)Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge (Australia exposure preferred).Experience in preparing management reports and financial packs.Exposure to SaaS or technology startups is desirable but not essential.Comfortable working across HR, contracts, tenders, and business administration.Strong communication skills to liaise directly with the Managing Director and external advisors.Attributes
