This is a remote position.
Schedule :
- Mondays to Fridays, 10 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, Downey, CA
- Client Timezone : Pacific Time (PT)
Key Responsibilities :
Dental Claims Management : Prepare, submit, and track dental claims to insurance companies and third-party payers.Claims Resolution : Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any issues or discrepancies.Insurance Verification : Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for dental services.Billing Management : Oversee the operations of the dental billing department, including charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and reimbursement management.Billing Specialist : Act as a lead in communicating with patients to explain charges, handle billing inquiries, and clarify any discrepancies.Requirements
3 to 5 years of billing and coding experience required.Experience in outbound dental scheduling.Coding certification preferred.Bilingual proficiency is an advantage, as the role involves regular communication with clients and diverse individuals.Attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, knowledge of EOBs, and strong documentation skills are essential.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to handle billing disputes.Benefits
