Job Description
As a Mortgage Loan Processor , your primary responsibilities will include :
Loan Application TrackingMonitor applications from lodgement to settlement and ensure timely progression.Track key milestones and follow up with lenders, solicitors, and agents.Update loan statuses in HubSpot and internal tracking systems.Mortgage & Property Settlement CoordinationAct as the liaison between lenders and solicitors to manage mortgage settlements.Coordinate with real estate agents and solicitors to ensure all documents and financials are in order.Identify and resolve discrepancies in settlement figures, contracts, or approvals.Document Management & ComplianceUpload and maintain supporting documentation in Flex—even for non-proceeding applications.Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and compliant before closing off files.Progress Payments & ReportingLodge and track lender progress payments in coordination with finance teams.Generate and deliver property and equity reports with key insights on valuation, yield, and borrowing capacity.Client Portal (Company App) ManagementSet up and maintain client profiles and documents in the Company App.Keep portals updated with key documents and settlement information from start to finish.Finance & Settlement EscalationsIdentify and escalate urgent settlement or finance issues.Coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams, lenders, and solicitors.Provide timely updates and guidance to clients regarding delays or complications.Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Australian Mortgage industry.Experience working for an Australian Client / Business is required.Strong understanding of mortgage lending, lender conditions, and settlement procedures.Experience using document and client management systems.Proficiency in using Flex document managementProficiency in using PEXA and digital settlement platformsProficiency in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Experience in using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot ).Loan tracking and report generation tools.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple settlements simultaneously.Proactive problem-solving and issue escalation skills.Solid knowledge of mortgage and property finance regulations and compliance standards.Benefits
