Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Philippines

Report To : Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The CEO will be responsible for leading the development and operations of a 20GW project portfolio in the Philippines , ensuring financial efficiency, transparent governance, and alignment with sustainability goals. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, deep knowledge of renewable energy and LNG projects , and proven ability to engage stakeholders at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Direction : Define and implement long-term vision and business growth strategies for renewable energy and LNG projects, in alignment with the Group’s approved budget.
- Project Development : Identify and pursue new opportunities. Drive the active development and execution of renewable energy projects.
- Finance & Operations : Manage budgets and approve capital expenditures in line with the Group’s approved budget. Oversee asset operations and ensure sustainable shareholder value growth.
- Governance & Compliance : Ensure strict compliance with legal, ESG, and regulatory requirements. Maintain transparent governance and effective risk management practices.
- Organizational Leadership : Lead and inspire the senior management team. Build a high-performance culture and succession planning framework.
- Representation & Partnerships : Act as the primary spokesperson of the company. Maintain strong relationships with shareholders, government authorities, media, and the community.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field is required.Experience : 15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in the energy sector (renewable energy, LNG, power generation). Proven track record of developing and delivering large-scale power projects. Strong background in strategic planning, P&L management, corporate governance, and stakeholder engagement. Previous experience as CEO, Country Director, …in multinational or large-scale corporations is highly desirable.Skills & Competencies
Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with ability to inspire and align senior executives.Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, capital allocation, and investment oversight.Excellent negotiation and communication skills with government agencies, investors, partners, and media.Deep understanding of ESG principles, compliance frameworks, and risk management.Ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment and manage diverse stakeholders.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achieve development goals of 20GW by Q4 2026.Secure and expand power offtake agreements (wholesale and retail).Deliver projects on schedule and within budget.Expand portfolio and establish strategic partnerships / contracts.Ensure ESG compliance and maintain high operational performance.Retain and develop key talent across the organization.Contact
