Senior Accountant

Testronic, a global leader in quality assurance for the entertainment industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant in Manila.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in accounting or finance and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues and have a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP), bank transactions, general ledger (GL), and reconciliations.
• Manage all disbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Handle all tax-related payments and inquiries in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP, bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial areas, including the preparation and maintenance of supporting schedules.
• Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Conduct quarterly asset counts and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Manager – Accounting & Finance regarding month-end entries in SAP.
• Supervise the Junior Accountant in procurement-related tasks.
• Mentor and oversee Junior Accounting Staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
• Prepare reports related to AP aging, bills scheduler, credit card transactions, and other disbursement-related items.
• Maintain organized financial records with the assistance of the Junior Accountant.
• Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
