Category Manager

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Category Manager to oversee and grow our food product categories. The role requires someone with deep knowledge of the food industry, strong supplier management skills, and the ability to drive category performance through effective planning, pricing, and promotions.

Educational Background :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields.

Key Responsibilities :

⦁ Develop and implement category strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share.

⦁ Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends to identify growth opportunities within assigned categories.

⦁ Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation of pricing, terms, and contracts.

⦁ Oversee product assortment, inventory levels, and demand planning to ensure product availability.

⦁ Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to execute category plans and promotional activities.

⦁ Analyze sales performance, pricing, and customer preferences to optimize product mix and category positioning.

⦁ Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

⦁ Prepare regular reports on category performance and provide recommendations to management.

Job Qualifications :

⦁ At least 2–3 years of proven experience as a Category Manager, Buyer, or Merchandiser, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.

⦁ Age requirement : not more than 45years old

⦁ Strong knowledge of procurement, supply chain, and product lifecycle management.

⦁ Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, and market analysis.

⦁ Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools to guide decision-making.

⦁ Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

⦁ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.

⦁ Must be residing / renting near our office locations : Taguig, Alabang, or Pasay

Monthly Salary : (Depends on qualification)
