Schedule :   Sunday-Thursday, 9 : 00AM-6 : 00PM Israel time with 1-hour unpaid break

Role Overview

The Shorts Editor will be responsible for creating engaging, high-energy, and professional short-form video content (15–90 seconds) for Funded Freedom’s YouTube and social media channels. This role requires someone with a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and the ability to translate long-form content into punchy, digestible shorts that grab attention and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form content into engaging short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels).
• Incorporate motion graphics, text overlays, captions, sound effects, and transitions to maximize viewer retention.
• Maintain brand consistency in visuals, tone, and style.
• Collaborate with the content team to understand key messages and identify highlight-worthy moments.
• Optimize content for engagement metrics such as watch time, clicks, and shares.
• Deliver final edits on time, according to schedule.
• Stay up-to-date on trends in short-form video and social media best practices.

Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Requirements

Requirements : Proven experience editing short-form videos for YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram. Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (After Effects is a plus). Ability to craft engaging stories from raw footage, focusing on pacing and audience engagement. Understanding of current social media trends, hooks, and platform algorithms. Excellent sense of timing, music selection, and visual flow. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand quality. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a creative team. A portfolio or show reel demonstrating past short-form video work (required). Bonus : Familiarity with trading, finance, or educational content is an advantage.
