Operator for Water System

Operates and monitors water treatment equipment, from raw water intake to the final disinfection stage, to ensure safe and compliant drinking water. Key duties include performing quality tests, adjusting process controls and chemical feeds, conducting routine maintenance and repairs, and keeping detailed records of all operations and tests. This role requires a strong understanding of the entire treatment process, from raw water to treated and reused water, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain a variety of equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• An associate's degree in water quality technology or a related field may be preferred.
• A valid water treatment operator certification from the state or relevant regulatory body is required.
• Previous experience working in a water treatment plant or a similar field is preferred.
