PRIMARY ROLE ON QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • Develop and manage the implementation of the QA roadmap and standards across the organization to continuously improve QA practices and processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by identifying training needs and organizing relevant upskilling initiatives for the QA team.
  • Conduct regular QA improvement meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift the capabilities of the entire technical team.
  • Continuously explore opportunities to optimize QA processes, including the evaluation and implementation of new tools and services such as automated regression testing.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, ensuring team members are supported, their concerns addressed, and that they remain motivated and productive.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients on QA-related concerns and tasks, and communicate effectively to build stakeholder trust and confidence.

SUPPORT ROLE ON DEVELOPMENT AND DEPLOYMENT

  • Allocate and manage QA resources to ensure smooth support for development and deployment efforts.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of QA outputs, including the following :
  • Creation of thorough and well-structured test plans
  • Timely and complete execution of testing based on approved test scripts
  • Proper documentation of test results and findings
  • Clear and consistent communication of findings to the Scrum Team and / or relevant project stakeholders
  • Execution of regression testing to ensure solution stability and consistency
  • Ready to provide support as needed, including stepping in when additional resources or manpower are required to ensure the success of development and deployment efforts.
  • Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, management, or other related fields.
  • A keen eye on details.
  • Mobile development, web development, UI / UX background is a plus.
  • An in-depth understanding on industry QA tools, standards, and policies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Fundamental technical, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
  • A track record of following through on commitments.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A history of supporting successful projects.
  • Open to work onsite if needed, but otherwise have the flexibility to work from anywhere.
