Role Overview
This role is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and detailed financial analyses, while ensuring compliance with the US GAAP. The ideal candidate will play a key role in month-end close processes and support various internal and external reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in general accounting such as the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Must have background in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and preferably in Sage Intacct
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Roles & Responsibilities
Compile financial statements, composite reports, and income / expense account analyses from various sources for internal management and government compliancePrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with the Accounting Manager to resolve issuesRecord and analyze journal entries to ensure accuracy of transactions, including payroll accruals, rent schedules, tax entries, and revenue recognitionMaintain and review the fixed asset schedule by analyzing related transactional dataReconcile and document intercompany balances, ensuring alignment with affiliated entitiesManage month-end and quarter-end close processes, including corporate consolidation files and supporting documentation for reviewPrepare audit and tax schedules for internal and external auditsCollaborate with Accounts Payable to validate invoice coding and record monthly accruals accuratelySupport special projects and initiatives assigned by the Accounting ManagerPerform other accounting and administrative tasks to support daily operationsBenefits :
