GL Accountant

Job Description

Infinit-ois looking to recruit a General Ledger Accountant to assist the team in the key operational areas; such as full balance sheet reconciliation, month-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivables, as well as assist in process improvements to meet the fast-paced growth of the organization.

Reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, this role will be a key member of the Accounting & Finance team and will have strong visibility to areas such as general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and financial reporting requirements .

Job Responsibilities :

Management of purchase orders

Sub-disbursement analysis

Process improvements

AMEX – Reconciliation and Management Support

Prepare monthly and ad hoc journal entries

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Monthly expense reallocations

Quarterly balance sheet allocations

Maintenance and rollforward of balance sheet reconciliations

Ad Hoc assignments and analytics

Support of interim and annual audit testing

Ad Hoc projects and other tasks as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA is required.

At least 1-3 years of relevant experience

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel) and / or Google Suite

Strong technical skills - specifically with Word Excel spreadsheets / Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP functions and pivot tables

Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Strong problem solver, possessing the ability to see how the different pieces of the puzzle fit together

Excellent communicator, both written and oral, to act as a cross-functional business partner

Highly detail oriented, with an analytical approach to supporting the strategic decision-making process

Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
