Description

The DevOps Engineer is essential in improving our software delivery process by implementing and managing CI / CD pipelines, IaC, and monitoring tools to enhance efficiency, reliability, and agility in delivering software solutions. He will work with our dynamic teams responsible for all aspects surrounding data such as weather observations, published content, and API documentation.

What you will be responsible for :

  • Maintain, update, and administer core DTN CI / CD tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to debug, enhance, and update infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Create IaC for bootstrapping DTN applications into cloud providers like AWS.
  • Write and enrich documentations to promote established DevOps tools and patterns.
  • Lead efforts in creating and enhancing application and shared tool monitoring, logging, and alerting.

What you will bring to the role :

  • Extensive experience with AWS, including creating resources using IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (Bash, Python, Javascript), and maintaining CI / CD pipelines in tools like GitLab, Bitbucket, or Bamboo.
  • Experience with system administration in Linux environments, micro-service architecture, SaaS and PaaS products.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to learn technologies quickly.
  • Experience with Agile Scrum, and familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

    The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 58,333 and PHP 83,333 monthly. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to : prior work experience, training / education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
