Global Head of Accounting

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the global accounting strategy for AP / AR, including internalization and transition from external accounting firms.

Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual AP / AR financial statements — including global consolidation and reporting.

Establish and continuously improve best-in-class accounting processes worldwide.

Lead key projects and improvement initiatives, including performance management and reporting.

Identify business growth and profitability opportunities through data-driven financial insights.

Collaborate closely with finance and cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity.

Build and advance the accounting organization structure — mentoring leaders, optimizing resources, and supporting global hiring.

At least 8+ years of experience in group accounting (industry and / or audit background).

Proven track record of leading leaders and developing high-performing teams.

Strong command of IFRS accounting standards.

Experience in ERP / data migration projects and process automation.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Hands-on, pragmatic, and persuasive leadership style — with a growth mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
