Job Purpose
The Process Associate is responsible for providing operations and customer data analysis support. This role delivers performance insights, identifies improvement opportunities, and facilitates the implementation of effective solutions to operational challenges.
The position also leads the design and execution of continuous improvement initiatives. These efforts are essential to ensure timely visibility of the company’s customer freight data and management reports, empowering both customers and operations teams to make informed decisions.
This role reports to the Manager, Data Analytics Process Design.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Documentation and Analytics
- Conduct thorough analyses of existing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Support company leadership in documenting standardized processes within a centralized repository.
- Ensure that new processes are properly aligned and integrated with existing workflows.
- Collaborate with account managers, operations, customer service, and clients to gather, validate, and document operational requirements.
- Perform systematic research and analysis of complex operational issues.
- Develop, present, and communicate analytical reports to key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Design new analytics solutions to address current gaps in reporting tools.
- Provide reports, presentations, and relevant updates to management as required.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented initiatives.
- Prepare and present regular project status, risk, and outcome reports to company operations and customer teams.
- Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and recommend further process improvements.
Collaboration
Work closely with company operations and customer teams to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into project planning and execution.Facilitate regular meetings and maintain clear communication channels to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.Establish efficient operating systems to promote cross-functional collaboration.Provide training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.Lead change management activities to ensure a seamless transition and project handover to process owners.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher; a major in Mathematics is preferred.Strong integrity and a high sense of responsibility.Quick learner with the ability to acquire new knowledge and skills efficiently.Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other MS Office applications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.Ability to perform quality assurance and validate own work.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Background in freight forwarding, consolidation, or logistics is preferred.
