Work setup : Hybrid work environment. Applicants open to working in the office two days a week are welcome to apply.

Work schedule : 3 PM to 11 PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours.

Employment type : Permanent

Location : Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range : Php 102,000 to Php 139,000. Applicants comfortable with this salary range are encouraged to apply.

Role : Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a technically accomplished and proactive Network Security Engineer to join our Manila-based team, aligned to UK working hours. In this role, you will design and manage secure network infrastructures across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will work with firewalls, IDS / IPS, VPNs, and web application security to ensure resilience against evolving threats while supporting business operations. You will collaborate with global teams to protect sensitive data, minimise risk, and uphold our security posture and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, harden, and audit network architectures (on-premises and cloud).
• Manage firewalls, IDS / IPS, secure VPNs, and web application firewalls (WAF).
• Lead incident response, log analysis, and coordinate with the SOC.
• Monitor and remediate malicious network activity in real-time.
• Configure and review network traffic filters, change controls, and access rules.
• Support DDoS defence, vulnerability assessments, and Zero Trust implementations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations such as ISO 27001, CIS, and GDPR.
• Guide audits and improve network security tooling and visibility.
