Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor – Revenue is responsible for overseeing revenue accounting activities, including booking and revenue recognition, in accordance with established practices. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and reconciling accounts to support business decisions. It ensures the accuracy and completeness of sales revenue information and identifies opportunities to enhance profitability. This position plays a key role in aligning financial reporting with organizational goals.
B. Essential Job Functions
Track project revenues by gathering and organizing financial data such as unit selling price, percentage of completion, customer payments, AR – Trade, Contract Assets, and Liabilities.
Ensure accurate computation and recording of project revenues and reconcile them with project budgets.
Conduct variance analysis and financial performance projections to support decision-making and identify improvement areas.
Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports for management, offering insights into project performance.
Review and validate project budgets, provide input on revenue estimates, and monitor actual vs. budgeted performance.
Coordinate with Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to forecast revenues and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
C. Secondary Job Functions
Assist in internal and external audit requirements related to revenue and receivables.
Support system enhancements and automation initiatives related to revenue tracking and reporting.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
D. Job Qualifications
Educational Attainment :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
Work Experience :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
Preferably with experience in the real estate industry, specializing in horizontal projects
Supervisory or officer-level experience in revenue recognition and AR monitoring
Specific Skills :
Strong analytical skills in financial data interpretation and variance analysis
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Licenses / Certifications :
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Preferred
