The License Compliance – Sales Specialist is responsible for identifying, managing, and
resolving software or product license non-compliance issues while driving revenue through
compliance-related sales opportunities. This role acts as a bridge between compliance audits
and commercial sales, ensuring customers understand their licensing obligations and guiding
them toward appropriate solutions that support both legal adherence and business value.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Finance, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in sales, licensing, compliance, or audit-related roles.
Strong understanding of software / product licensing models (perpetual, subscription,
SaaS, user-based, device-based, etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred
Experience in software licensing compliance (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, Autodesk).
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Experience with data analysis, audit reporting, or contract interpretation.
