We are looking for a highly organized Payroll Accountant for Global Teams with 1-2 years work experience in end-to-end payroll administration and / or finance operations. You will maintain confidential data and serve as the primary contact for payroll and finance queries, and assist with financial reporting. You should be a self-starter with strong communication, problem-solving skills, customer service experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. For fresh graduates who are keen to kickstart their finance career in a dynamic and fast pace environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

This is a fixed term 1-year contract position on a full 5-day day shift working arrangement from 8.30am - 5.30pm PH time

Your key focus areas will be

  • Administer and maintain highly-confidential employee pay data and records
  • Administer and maintain payroll related databases, templates, etc.
  • Ensure the accuracy of payroll reports, timesheets, etc.
  • Prepare pre-payroll reports within prescribed deadlines
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate payroll accuracy
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate statutory contributions
  • Perform post-payroll audits to validate payroll-related vendor invoices
  • Prepare and send out client invoices within the prescribed deadlines
  • Act as the main point of contact for queries from clients, employees and partners
  • Respond and resolve queries within prescribed SLAs
  • Assist with end-of-month financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis, as needed
  • Act as a leave cover for fellow payroll and finance administrators

  • At least 1-2 years work experience in payroll administration and / or finance operations
  • Work experience in an Employer of Record structure would be an advantage
  • Work experience in cross-country payroll would be an advantage
  • Customer service experience is a must
  • Excel proficiency is a must
  • Netsuite experience would be an advantage
  • Zendesk experience would be an advantage
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with aptitude to learn
  • Ability to work with confidential information with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
