Our Payroll Officer is responsible for managing and processing the payroll functions this includes ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, calculating wages, salaries, bonuses, and deductions, and complying with tax laws and employment regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Perform and oversee all activities necessary to process payroll.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including files, tax reports, and voluntary deduction documentation.
- Administer payroll processes, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy of payroll and benefit codes.
- Research and process payroll and benefit adjustment entries.
- Calculate retroactive salary and hourly employee data as assigned.
- Participate in annual, quarterly, and SOX audits.
- Ensure compliance with payroll statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up with employees and managers to ensure timely submission of attendance and schedules.
- Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented approach when interacting with employees and managers.
- Train new employees and managers on payroll policies and timekeeping systems.
- Proactively research and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Ensure the accuracy of data in timekeeping systems
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
Knowledge of Philippine payroll and statutory requirements.A minimum of 7 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.Knowledgeable in payroll systems such as ADP and NetSuite.Strong analytical skills and advanced MS Excel skills.Experience in handling high-volume transactions.Ability to analyze and resolve queries effectively.Knowledge of basic accounting concepts.Good communication skills both written and verbal and must be able to address inquiries efficientlyBachelors Degree holder major in Accounting or Finance preferred
