Key Responsibilities
Answer Inquiries :
Handle calls, emails, or chats from patients or healthcare providers regarding insurance coverage, claims, billing, or authorizations.
Process Claims :
Assist in verifying and processing insurance claims or medical benefits.
Appointment Scheduling :
Book, reschedule, or cancel medical appointments as requested by patients.
Medical Records Support :
Help with requests for medical records, lab results, or prescription refills (within guidelines).
Ensure Compliance :
Follow strict confidentiality and data protection rules (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
Update Patient Information :
Record and update patient or insurance details accurately in the system.
Problem Resolution :
Investigate and resolve issues related to denied claims, incorrect billing, or missing documentation.
Customer Service :
Provide professional, empathetic, and efficient service to ensure patient satisfaction.
Documentation :
Log all customer interactions and resolutions clearly and accurately.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Basic knowledge of medical terms or health insurance (training provided)
Typing and computer proficiency
