We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights for decision-making. The role will involve gathering requirements, modeling data, creating dashboards and reports, and ensuring data accuracy and performance within the Power BI environment.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Build and maintain data models (star schema, snowflake, tabular) to support reporting needs.
• Optimize data sets and queries for performance and scalability.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms, etc.) into Power BI.
• Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and data access permissions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reports and dashboards.
• Automate report refreshes and maintain scheduled data loads.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to data models and reporting.
• Stay updated with the latest features of Power BI and recommend improvements.
• Provide end-user training and support to enable self-service analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Analyst, or in a similar data visualization role.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M), and DAX.
• Experience with SQL (query writing, stored procedures, data integration).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Looker).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data science tools.
• Experience with agile / scrum methodologies.
