This is a remote position.
Job Highlights :
Contract : Independent Contractor
Schedule : Monday to Friday, or 10am to 7pm or 1 PM to 10 PM, 1 hour unpaid break
Client Timezone : Fiji Time (FJT)
Responsibilities :
Restructure and clean up existing Xero accounting system
Perform forensic analysis of current bookkeeping records to identify and correct errors
Bring all financial records up to date for the current year
Set up proper chart of accounts and organizational structures within Xero
Handle accounts payable processing and management
Process approximately 10 invoices per month for ongoing maintenance
Perform account reconciliations (AP, AR, bank reconciliations)
Prepare data and supporting documentation for business activity statements and quarterly / annual reporting
Manage inventory tracking and reporting within Xero
Establish and maintain proper bookkeeping processes and workflows

They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Requirements
Requirements : Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Xero accounting software Proven experience in restructuring and cleaning up messy bookkeeping systems Strong forensic bookkeeping skills with ability to identify and correct historical errors Experience with accounts payable and receivable management Knowledge of inventory management within Xero Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Experience preparing data for BAS and other regulatory reporting requirements Excellent communication skills for direct client interaction
