Deputy Chief Operating Officer

Job descriptionAssist the COO in the development and execution of short-term and long-term operational plans. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve productivity, resource allocation, and profitability. Lead cross-functional projects to enhance workflow, patient experience, and organizational growth. Oversee resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and medical supplies. Ensure cost-efficient procurement, inventory control, and distribution of materials across all branches or clinics. Coordinate with the Materials Management and Purchasing departments to maintain adequate supply levels. Monitor operational budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals. Review performance reports and recommend corrective actions to achieve operational targets. Support the COO and Finance Department in forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning. Supervise and mentor clinic managers and department heads to ensure effective leadership and staff performance. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of key operational personnel. Ensure all clinics and departments adhere to company policies, DOH regulations, and industry standards. Implement quality assurance and risk management systems. Lead operational audits and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
- Support the COO in formulating, implementing, and monitoring operational strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Coordinate with clinic heads and department managers to address operational challenges and ensure service continuity.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance, compliance, and service quality.
