Job Purpose
The Senior Application Developer will collaborate with our internal teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions and .NET framework. The Senior Application Developer will be responsible for creating applications from the ground up, configuring existing systems, and providing user support.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
- Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
- Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times
- Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
Qualifications
BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field10-15 years’ experience as a .NET Developer or Application DeveloperFamiliarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design / architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5 / CSS3Familiarity with architecture styles / APIs (REST, RPC)Understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organizationStrong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysesHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skills requiredWorking Conditions
