Accounting Assistant (Insurance)

About the Role :
We are looking for an Agency Recruitment and Activation Officer to build and manage a strong network of agents representing our organization. You will identify, recruit, and onboard motivated agents, ensuring they are aligned with our mission and values. By effectively sourcing, screening, and activating agents, you will contribute directly to the growth and success of our agency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and post book entries (depreciation, recurring entries, prepayments, accruals, payroll).
- Reconcile accounts payable, payroll-related accounts, prepayments, and balance sheets.
- Manage fixed assets (additions, retirements, capitalizations, schedules).
- Process batch entries in SAP and maintain SAP user accounts.
- Prepare and review tax computations, filings, and remittances.
- Coordinate permits, government submissions (BIR, IC, BSP, LGU), and audits.
- Assist in audit schedules, financial statements, and ad hoc accounting projects.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations.Proficient in SAP and other accounting software.Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organized.Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Experience in financial statements, tax filings, and audit schedules is a plus.Why Join Us :
