Sr. Cybersecurity (macOS engineering)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in macOS to strengthen endpoint security and system resilience across enterprise environments. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining macOS security architecture, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage macOS security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other cyberthreats.
• Configure and maintain the pf firewall to ensure network integrity and policy compliance.
• Administer and optimize JAMF Pro for macOS device management, emphasizing security configuration and compliance enforcement.
• Deploy and manage endpoint protection tools such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to enhance threat detection and response.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans , and apply remediation measures to maintain a robust security posture.
• Develop, document, and enforce macOS security policies, standards, and best practices .
• Investigate and respond to security incidents , including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT and cross‑functional teams to align security measures with business and technology objectives.
• Manage network access and authentication technologies such as VPN, CASB, Conditional Access, and MFA for macOS systems.
• Stay current with macOS security trends, vulnerabilities, and tools to proactively enhance the organization's defenses.
