Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspecting Shipments :

Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage or discrepancies, and record them accurately.

Inventory Management :

Organize, label, and store products in designated areas, perform cycle counts, and update inventory records using warehouse management systems.

Order Fulfillment :

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer or internal orders for shipment, ensuring products are handled carefully and efficiently.

Shipping and Loading :

Load outgoing shipments onto trucks or other transport, ensuring all packages are properly labeled and secured for transit.

Equipment Operation :

Safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move and store goods.

Warehouse Maintenance :

Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Record Keeping :

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movements, and any discrepancies found.

Teamwork and Safety :

Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Physical Demands

Physical Stamina :

The role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry heavy items, sometimes weighing up to 75 pounds.

Attention to Detail :

Crucial for accurately receiving, tracking, and packing orders, as well as identifying damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.

Equipment Operation :

Ability to learn and safely operate various types of warehouse machinery.
