Key Responsibilities
Supplier Research & Management : Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their products / services, and maintain strong working relationships.
Procurement & Negotiation : Source products and services, compare bids, negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers, and place bulk orders.
Inventory & Quality Control : Monitor and inspect inventory levels, review the quality of purchased goods, and report any damaged or faulty products.
Order & Delivery Tracking : Track the progress of orders, coordinate with the delivery team and warehouse for proper storage, and ensure timely delivery.
Record Keeping : Maintain meticulous records of all orders, payments, and inventory levels.
Collaboration : Work with internal departments, such as production and finance, to align procurement with organizational needs and budget constraints.
Market Awareness : Stay informed about market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate effectively to secure the best prices and terms with suppliers.
Analytical Skills : Capability to perform cost analysis, evaluate products and services, and identify market trends.
Organizational Skills : Strong ability to plan, track orders, manage records, and maintain inventories.

Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with procurement software, inventory management systems, and basic office applications.
Educational Background : A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
