Key Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for leading the design, delivery and support of IT Security solutions globally.
- Responsible as the Product Owner of defined security technology solutions.
- Working together with other Infrastructure SMEs in the design, delivery and support of SomnoMed global network solutions.
- Liaising with the wider global Infrastructure team in design and delivery of secure infrastructure solutions.
- Analysis of business and technical requirements to design and deliver both networking and IT Security solutions.
- Consults with IT and business leaders to analyze IT security service needs to determine scope and priorities of projects and to discover requirements for SomnoMed globally.
- Works together with the Director – Global IT and IT management on delivering the IT Security strategy, roadmap, policies, and standards based on requirements globally.
- Provides technical guidance on all systems in place to all levels of Information Technology staff. Leading by being an example with a positive customer service attitude.
- Working as part of the IT team in delivering standardized and effective IT solutions
- Project Leadership of activities when required.
- Development of ways of working to support the optimal use of the SomnoMed technology.
- This role will report to the IT Manager and is located in Manila, Philippines
- Degree or industry standard qualifications relating to the role
- 3 to 5 years in a similar or equivalent position
- Experience in leading small teams to deliver on expectations.
Background of this role should be :
cybersecurity roles (e.g., security analyst, security engineer, SOC analyst)Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEMs like Splunk / QRadar, firewalls, IDS / IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection, etc.)Practical experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Familiarity with securing networks, applications, and infrastructureOne or more of the following certification :
CompTIA Security+Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)GIAC certifications (e.g., GSEC, GCIH)CISSP Associate (or full CISSP if eligible)Microsoft SC-200, AWS Security Specialty, or other cloud security certsSeniority level
