Overview
Mission : To manage the storage, handling, and distribution of materials and equipment for the Metro Manila Subway Project. The Warehouse Manager ensures inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and alignment with construction phasing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inventory Control & Documentation
Maintain a comprehensive inventory tracking system with real-time visibility
Record all incoming / outgoing materials with full traceabilityConduct regular audits and resolve discrepanciesImplement stock control procedures to prevent shortages or overstockingPrepare detailed inventory reports for stakeholdersEnsure documentation is complete, compliant, and retrievableCollaborate with procurement and construction teams to anticipate material needsLogistics CoordinationCoordinate deliveries and dispatches per construction schedules
Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and site teamsMaintain vehicle records and ensure preventive maintenanceAssess warehouse sizing and layout for full project scopeOptimize internal logistics flows across construction zonesWarehouse OperationsSupervise daily warehouse activities and staff
Develop and enforce SOPs for warehouse workflowsManage layout and zoning for efficient material handlingEnsure proper storage conditions for sensitive equipmentEnforce safety protocols and emergency proceduresLead staff training and performance monitoringCoordinate with QA teams for inspections and non-conformance handlingSupport continuous improvement initiativesSystem IntegrationAlign warehouse operations with system installation phases
Support integration with planning tools such as Primavera P6 and other relevant platformsQualifications
Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse / logistics management, preferably in infrastructure or railway projectsSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse safety
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory softwareExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic timelinesPreferred AttributesExperience with large-scale infrastructure projects
Familiarity with construction phasing and digital logistics platformsStrong leadership and proactive problem-solving mindsetPosition based in Bulacan with bi-weekly meeting at Colas rail office at Vertis North - Quezon City.#J-18808-Ljbffr
