Finance Officer

Job Summary :

The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and control within a manufacturing or FMCG environment—particularly in food production. The position ensures accurate financial records, cost and inventory management, compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and effective collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting :

Prepare and reconcile financial statements in compliance with IFRS / GAAP and company policies; manage receivables and payables to maintain cash flow.

Cost & Inventory Accounting :

Maintain cost records for raw materials and production; analyze costs and margins; conduct stock takes and ensure accurate inventory valuation.

Budgeting & Forecasting :

Assist in budget preparation, monitor financial performance, and analyze variances to support decision-making.

Compliance & Controls :

Ensure adherence to tax and statutory requirements; support audits; strengthen internal financial controls.

Team Leadership & Collaboration :

Supervise junior accountants and coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data integration.
