Job description
  • Supervise and manage the accounting team’s daily operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support senior management in strategic decision-making through data-driven financial insights.

    • Job Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3+ years accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
    • Skilled in accounting software, MS Excel, ERP; strong knowledge of tax, GAAP, and compliance
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills; retail / distribution experience preferred
