Staff Accountant

Arbour Group  is looking for a full-time  Staff Accountant  to join their client's organization- one of the leading organizations in the USA providing exterior and interior signage, graphics, and maintenance services, with a network of award-winning installation partners.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions to support accurate financial reporting and analyses.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and be capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Main Tasks : General Ledger Management : Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Account Reconciliations : Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts monthly.

Month-End / Year-End Close : Provide insights and analysis to support month-end close and financial planning.

Audit Support : Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and schedules.

Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Compliance & Controls : Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

Special Projects : Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as required, providing financial insights and recommendations Minimum Qualifications : Must be a resident of the Philippines Able to work on a hybrid / onsite work arrangement in Makati, Metro Manila.

Able to work following US time (night shift in the Philippines) Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

2+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Intermediate Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, sumif) Preferred knowledge of QuickBooks and SalesForce / Accounting Seed Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
