SUMMARY

As a Junior Security Analyst you will play a crucial role in the organization's efforts to protect its digital infrastructure, systems, and data from potential security threats and cyberattacks. You will work alongside senior security professionals to monitor, identify, and mitigate security risks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and Analyze Security Alerts : Continuously track and evaluate security alerts and events generated by various security tools, including SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection / prevention systems, to identify potential threats.
• Assist with Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing : Participate in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses across the organization's infrastructure and applications.
• Support Security Measure Implementation and Maintenance : Aid in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection / prevention systems to safeguard the network and data.
• Incident Investigation and Response : Assist in the investigation, analysis, and response to security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and other cyber threats, to mitigate their impact and restore system integrity.
• Contribute to Security Policies and Procedures : Support the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Provide Security Awareness Training : Help design and deliver security awareness programs to educate employees and clients on safe practices, including phishing prevention and data protection measures.
• Collaborate with IT and Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with IT, network, and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all operational processes and systems.
