Job Description

The Senior Design Engineer will lead and oversee the design and technical aspects of Transmission Line, Substation, and Solar PV Projects. The role involves developing detailed engineering designs, ensuring technical accuracy, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, and supporting both design and field implementation phases.

The employee will primarily work in the office for design preparation and coordination but should be willing to travel or conduct site visits as required by project activities.

Project assignments and locations will depend on the company’s schedule and requirements, with most projects located in Luzon.

Open Positions

Senior Design Engineer – Civil (1)

Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC)

At least 5 years of experience in Transmission Line, Substation, or PV Solar project design

Strong background in structural design and foundation layout for energy infrastructure

Proficient in AutoCAD and related civil / structural design software

Senior Design Engineer – Electrical (1)

Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC)

At least 5 years of experience in Transmission Line, Substation, or PV Solar design

Strong knowledge in system design, load flow, protection, grounding, and cable sizing

Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software (e.g., ETAP or similar)

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and technical review of drawings, layouts, and calculations for assigned projects.

Supervise and mentor junior engineers and drafters in design preparation.

Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations.

Conduct design validation, checking, and coordination with other engineering disciplines.

Participate in site inspections, data gathering, and technical assessments as required.

Prepare detailed engineering reports, design documentation, and as‑built drawings.

Support project management and provide technical input during project planning and execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering

PRC Licensed Engineer

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Transmission Line, Substation, or Solar project design

Proficient in AutoCAD and design-related tools (PLS-CADD, STAAD, ETAP, or equivalent)

Strong analytical, leadership, and coordination skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple design deliverables

Willing to travel or be assigned to project site as needed
