VirtueStaff is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support a tile and carpet installation client. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all operations run smoothly. You will work closely with various teams, clients, and vendors to facilitate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in the construction and flooring industry.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of installation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely status updates and resolving inquiries.
- Interface with various teams, including installers, suppliers, and the management team, to ensure project alignment.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Generate project reports, and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain organized files for project documentation and contracts.
- Provide support in marketing and outreach efforts related to installation services.
- Manage and update project information within the CRM system.
- Process customer payments, track accounts receivable, and maintain financial records in accounting software.
- Manage general office operations, including scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, and handling correspondence.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of project coordination or management experience, preferably in the construction, remodelling or flooring industry.Familiarity with flooring materials and installation processes is a plus.Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Square, QuickBooks, and CompanyCam.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.Benefits
