An Director of Financial Reporting / IFRS Manager is a senior accounting professional who oversees the financial reporting process to ensure it complies with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) .
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Client Management : Manages client engagements, ensuring all financial reports and deliverables, such as Financial Accounting Reports , are accurate and submitted on time according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) . This includes reviewing and analyzing reports before they’re sent to clients.
Team Leadership : Supervises and mentors a team of accountants, setting clear goals, providing coaching, evaluating performance, and participating in recruitment and development.
Financial Oversight : Monitors account profitability and manages the team’s revenue portfolio to meet financial targets. They also lead meetings with clients’ management to present and discuss financial reports.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is strongly preferred.
At least 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, or accounting, with a background in management.
Strong knowledge of PFRS and IFRS .
Experience in people management and a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
