FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
Role Summary
The Finance Business Partner is responsible for overseeing all financial and controlling activities of a newly established business unit, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting and internal controls. The role involves developing and maintaining accounting systems that adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) while supporting strategic business decisions through analysis, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
This position plays a key leadership role in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. It collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to drive profitability, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure sound financial stewardship of the business unit’s assets and investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and control activities to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and performance metrics for management decision-making.
- Oversee month‑end close, balance sheet reviews, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Coordinate audit preparations and act as the primary contact for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial, statutory, and management reporting requirements.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
- Evaluate CAPEX, investments, and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.At least 5–8 years of experience in auditing, general accounting, financial reporting, and cost analysis.Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a leadership or people management role.Prior experience in external audit is an advantage.Strong background in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry is required.Experience in cross‑country or cross‑department coordination is an advantage.Excellent skills in financial analysis, negotiation, and executive presentation.Proven leadership, collaboration, and influence across diverse business functions.High level of integrity, analytical thinking, and business acumen.Additional information
