Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Medical Biller to strengthen our revenue cycle operations and support the continued growth of a multi-provider dermatology practice. This role is ideal for someone with a background in medical billing, strong knowledge of EMR platforms, and an eye for accuracy. You will handle insurance verifications, claims submissions, and follow-ups while supporting the existing billing team with overflow tasks. This position offers the opportunity to grow into greater responsibility as you demonstrate expertise in dermatology-specific billing processes and integrate seamlessly with the existing team.

Responsibilities

Perform insurance verifications and manage prior authorizations for patient treatments

Process claims submissions and ensure timely follow-up with insurance companies

Work within the EMMA EMR system (dermatology-specific) to manage patient billing records

Support existing billing team with overflow and specialized billing tasks

Maintain organized and accurate documentation of billing activities

Collaborate with the on-site RCM manager and US-based billing team to resolve billing discrepancies

Uphold compliance with medical billing regulations and dermatology-specific requirements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hands-on medical billing experience

Proficiency in EMR systems (experience with EMMA strongly preferred)

Solid understanding of insurance verification and claims management processes

Familiarity with medical billing codes and dermatology procedures

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow established processes

Professional English communication skills for coordination with US-based teams

Scope

Full-time dedicated role (40 hours per week)

Supporting a high-volume dermatology practice with 10 providers

Working directly under supervision of the RCM manager

Integrated into an established billing team and processes
