- Patient Diagnosis and Treatment : Examine patients’ teeth, gums, and mouth to diagnose dental conditions, create treatment plans, and perform procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Preventive Care and Education : Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care to maintain overall dental health.
- Management of Dental Equipment : Ensure all dental tools and equipment are sterilized, maintained, and used safely during treatments.
- Collaboration with Dental Team : Work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Record Keeping and Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care instructions.
- Education : A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.

- Experience : Previous experience in dental practice or a dental internship / residency program is preferred.
- Skills : Proficiency in dental procedures, excellent manual dexterity, strong communication, and patient management skills.
- Continuing Education : Ongoing participation in professional development and education to stay current with advancements in dental technology and treatments.
